I completed 8 weeks of this program and then got COVID! I did finish the program, it just took me a little longer. It feels good to have completed another program!

9 Week Control Freak is a at home workout plan that is available on beachbody on demand. This program comes with a control track (like a cable system at the gym) and core ball. To get the full effect of the program, you need dumbbells and a aerobic step.
This workout program consisted of 5 workouts per week for 9 weeks broken down into phases. Each phase was 3 weeks broken down into 5 workouts a week. The breakdown looked like this:
3 days of DCT-T (density training, strength training, and tabata) [a.k.a. weight training]
1 day of TABATA CARDIO
1 day of TOTAL BODY TONE
These 5 workouts styles repeat each week, but none of the moves are the same. This is definitely a weight training based program. I’m talking about the muscle gains! This program is not for the faint of heart, it will kick your booty. These workouts are less than 40 minutes and you will be so sweaty and sore after it is done!

I started this program January 4, 2021 and finished March 28, 2021. Like I said earlier, I stayed on track for 8 weeks until I got hit with COVID and took a couple weeks off. Then finished the last week of the program.
I was expectant for this program to deliver results because several other people who did this program saw amazing results! And I can say I did see some results change in my body.

One big thing for me during this program was focusing on my nutrition a little bit more. I follow the Ultimate Portion Fix nutrition program through Beachbody. I have really enjoyed this nutrition program because it allows you to have all the foods you want but portioned correctly to hit your macros.
The changes I saw:
My body fat went down considerably.
I went down a pant size.
I gained muscles!!

Like I said before, this program is intense. I’ve had several team members not finish because it was too intense on their body. I saw one woman on reels who broke her foot. My back and shoulders were too sore at one point and needed to take double rest days. BUT with proper form, this program gives results with weight loss and muscle growth.
Final tips:
give this program a try if you are looking for muscle growth
get all of the equipment with it, it matters!
push yourself to go harder in weight and to finish the cardio sets
