MORNING MELTDOWN 100 - I enjoy working out now!

Happy Sunday! I completed Beachbody’s Morning Meltdown a couple days ago. It feels so good to accomplish goals and I am so proud to say that I completed all 100 workouts from this program.

Before I show you my results, I wanted to give you some insight into the program and what it looked like.

Morning Meltdown 100 is a at home workout plan that is available on beachbody on demand. It can be accessed through your TV, phone, or any electronic device. All you need is some dumbbells and a workout mat to do the workouts.

This workout program consisted of 100 workouts broken down into 5 phases. Each phase had 20 workouts broken into two 10 day segments. Each day had a different theme.

Day 1 - CARDIO MELTDOWN (Cardio)

Day 2 - UPBEAT STRENGTH (Arms)

Day 3 - CORE INFERNO (Core/Abs)

Day 4 - TOTAL BODY BADASS (Total Body)

Day 5 - FREESTYLE FLOW (Yoga)

Day 6 - LIT CARDIO (Cardio)

Day 7 - DOWNBEAT STRENGTH (Legs)

Day 8 - FIGHT CLUB (Kickboxing)

Day 9 - MELTCON (Total Body)

Day 10 - REVIBE (Stretching)

These 10 days repeat until the end. Every workout is different so you don’t get bored with the workouts. I really enjoyed the variety of workouts. OH, I forgot the best part! These workouts are shorter than 30 minutes and I left sweating EVERY-TIME!

I started this program August 20, 2020 and finished December 31, 2020. It was my goal to finish before the end of the year. I am so glad I had a goal to finish before the end of the year, otherwise I might not have finished.

I saw the most progress between Workout 1 and Workout 50. During the last 50 workouts, I moved across the country, started a new job, and the holidays all occurred.

One big thing for me during this time was focusing more on fitness than nutrition. My diet pretty much stayed the same throughout the whole journey. I ate pizza and cookies, and drank lots of wine. With that being said, there has been some physical change but not as much as I expected or wanted.

The biggest changes I saw were non-scale victories!

  • My muscle tone increased: my butt is more lifted, you can see definition in my arm muscles, and my abs are starting to form.

  • My clothes fit better

  • I have so much more confidence now (it’s amazing how much exercising affects your mental health)

Unfortunately, I don’t have scale numbers or inches numbers because those items to measure are all packed up in boxes until we move into our new home.

My biggest takeaway is that I enjoy working out. I have found a system that I love. Beachbody on demand is like Netflix for online workout programs. I’ve done several at home workout programs, but this has been my favorite. Despite not losing seeing a huge physical difference, I’ve gained a new lifestyle and outlook on my future in fitness. I am not deterred away at all, but encouraged to keep moving forward because I am found something that works for me.
